Come and join us for this wonderfully serene workshop based on the traditional technique of painting on Japanese silk. Drawing on inspiration from the beauty of the natural world, namely flowers, we trace their exquisite forms and paint with vibrant colours.
This technique is suitable for experienced artists and absolute novices alike. From simple shapes to more complex, painting on silk is a fulfilling experience that will delight and surprise you.
Accessibility and parking:
The studio is based above the Fox Yard gallery in the Old Fox Yard just off the Ipswich Street. Studio is not accessible for wheelchair users, and the access to the workshop is via stairs only.
Please note that there is no parking at the venue, however you can park at a public car park from £1 per two hours. Several car parks are conveniently located within a short walking distance from the studio.
